I used to play when I was in the 4th grade, but then I had to quit. I want to start again, but I'm not sure if it's too late.

Was I dreaming or have I heard or seen that a player can stop a flying ball with their hands to bring it to the ground. I swear I've seen it and heard it. Thanks for your response

I travelled to Dublin just over a year ago and spotted a match on TV in one of the pubs and back at the hotel... An awesome sport, I'd have to say. My question is, how does one living in the US keep up with the daily matches? My experience in looking them up online hasn't been successful. I've gone with gaa.ie, i believe was the site, and yahoo.ie ect. I'm also interested in any online broadcasted games if any, or somplace to catch some clips. While in dublin I became a fan of the Lilywhites, they matched against Westmeath... Awesome match! But whatever I can dig up would be wonderful... I know there are a couple US teams, the California Gaels, I believe, though I'm more fond of the teams from the game's country of origin. :) Thanks in advance!

Here it's considered a "wussy" sport. Nobody cares about the World Cup. None of my friends, family, or even people on the streets. Is it really a Latino thing?

There are so many teams named "United" and I think Detroit United FC or Michigan United FC would be better than simply Detroit FC. My question is whether or not there is a prerequisite to be allowed to have that "United" tag or can a team just adopt it because they want it?
