Nobody is stupid for calling it soccer of football, it's what they choose to call it. Basically, in North America it's called soccer and in Europe; football. Even in Australia it's called football but with time, the younger generation uses the term soccer more and more!

Soccer. Football for us is played in the CFL. Oval ball. 12 men in equipment per team on the field at a time. Something like Rugby...but less violent!

It is called soccer. In Toronto, however, I did hear a vague reference to European Soccer.

i dont know. i know that europeans call it fotball. with one 'O'. since you kick the soccer ball with your feet. but i dont know why europeans call it fotball since the word 'foot' in romanian is a very bad bad bad word. the f word. but anyways. i drank too much coffee this morning and im acting weird. yikes. back to work. bye.
