ya,,,india has qualified arter the second world war,,,but that was an invitation by fifa bcoz most of countries who were been destryed in war refused 2 take part in it,,,by this way india had a golden chance 2 play in world cup but india also refused 2 take part in it bcoz they wanted 2 play without shoes in world cup but according 2 fifa rules they must wear shoes if they want to play it it,,,,thus india lost their chance play in world cup since then indians are unable 2 play in wrold cup,,,,,

Yah in 1950. But India withdrew from the tournament since FIFA will not allow to play barefoot.

No. It has been affiliated to FIFA in 1948 and it has never participated to the world cup finals
