Please no more answers that say it's just a matter of choice or anything as vague as that. There has to be some rhyme or reason of why one type of person would support one club over the other. At least with Celtic and Rangers we all know who supports whom. These allegiances in Merseyside have to built around something whether it was religion, or class, or geography, or ethnic make-up, whatever! But it has to make sense some how! And please spare the answer about it coming down to who your father and older brothers supported. Well they had to learn from someone at one time too, right?
