Pick your All-Pros.
For me, even though I'm not a big Marvin Harrison fan, I think he has to get one of the spots with his performance this year. It was his best in 4 years and he got stronger as the year went on.

On the other side, gotta go Donald Driver. I know, sounds wierd. But this guy was a rock all season on a bad team. He ran well with the ball, took huge hits and didn't drop the rock.

I know this is controversial. Other candidates are Chad Johnson (too inconsistent, too many drops); Terrell Owens (drops); Roy Williams (disappears a lot), Tory Holt (slumped badly), Reggie Wayne Lee Evans and Anquan Bolden.

It was a weak year for receivers.

I went back to school and work so I fell off watching football so I was just wondering if Terrel Owens ever straightened up his act and served the cowboys good?

Is it just me, or does it look like he just doesn't care on the sidelines. Is that why the Giants suck so bad. I wonder if he's dreaming about being on the Chargers?

A good back, for sure. Durable. Consistent. The career numbers are there.
But I really dislike the idea of this guy going to the Hall.
No postseason heroics to speak of, and he managed to have a long and productive career without ever being considered a dominant player at his position.
Only once over 1,600. Only twice over 1,500 yards. Five probowls. No all-pros. A rookie of the year.
Even the one time he won a rushing title, he won it by 1 yard over Shaun Alexander (and everyone knows the stat guys in that last game gave Martin every half-yard, Alexander should have won).
Does playing solid football and staying healthy for 12 years get you into the Hall??
I don't think so. In their primes, Terrell Davis, Tiki Barber, Shaun Alexander and many more were better players, and yet Martin will probably make it and they may not. I liken Martin to Eddie George, he just played a bit longer.

I lean toward yes. He lost three straight NFC championship games 2001-3, and all three were winnable games against less than spectacular opponents in which he delivered subpar performances.
Then he made it to the big dance against the QB of the generation, Tom Brady. Brady showed up, so did T.O., but McNabb was simply awful. He threw 3 costly picks, including one in the Red Zone. He finally ended the misery by botching clock management and vomiting repeatedly in the 4th quarter, joining thousands of Eagles fans who were disgusted with his performance.
Bottom line, the guy has folded in big games his whole career. He's a good QB, but don't dare rank him within sniffing distance of the top-5. I'm saying it, he's overrated, and my name aint Rush Limbaugh.

i mean quarterbacks have always gotten way too much credit passing the ball. i mean they could throw a 5 yard pass and it turn into a 70 yard touchdown and the quarterback gets more credit for the pass and the extra 65 yards that the reciever picked up. does any1 agree?
