Did anyone else think it hilarious that after Auburn beat South Carolina, the Tigers band could be heard in the background playing "Battle Hymn of the Republic" (more commonly known in the SEC as the Georgia Bulldogs fight song), just to mess with coach Steve Spurier?

It has nothing to do with him having played for OSU. But I hate the fact that he has to justify thinking that OSU will win, he can't just say that OSU will forever be his team. I would have more respect for him if he did.

Why do we have to have analysts call the games? How hard is it to find fans that can analyze? ESPN should tune in to a few of the local radio broadcasts (especially Larry Munson for GA and Eli Gould for AL) and see how a game should be called.

I need to pick one team to win or i'm out. No line they just have to win. I can pick anybody but Baltiomre, Phildelphia, New England, or Atlanta ( I have already picked them.) Who should I take? And please don't try to be funny and give me a team with a bye.

Have you ever noticed that OSU, Texas, and USC usually stomp on every member of their conference?

When was the last time you saw a true blowout between too SEC teams? I mean, come on, even Vanderbilt isn't that bad, and they no longer offer athletic scholarships!!

I personally think that you should actually weight the games different based on different conferences. The SEC is by far (debateable, I know) the toughest conference in the NCAA, but unless they have a blow-out, run-up-the-score kind of game, they get absolutely NOTHING from the analysts or the rankin polls. What the f***! Why does ESPN HATE the SEC? is it because they don't have one outstanding player (Matt Leinart, Reggie Bush, Vince Young), or is it because they are just a bunch of Dumb *** rednecks, and think that they are bad representatives of America?

By the way.....

help me make these nimrods understand that if osu was in the sec, they would be LUCKY to go 7-4. the big 10 is 2 teams deep. the sec? lets see....tenn, auburn, lsu, alabama, georgia, florida, god my hand hurts from typing that many top 25 teams.....osu isn't even the best team in their conference, let alone the nation, as michigan will show when they meet. wise up people, the sec has sent twice as many players to the nfl over the past 20 years than the big 10, so SHUTUPP!!!!!!!!!

i know this could be debated for years, but give me one name and why. mine? without hesitation...herschel walker, and not just because i'm a huge dawgs fan, but because he was a man amongst boys in college. totally unstoppable, teams put 9 and 10 men in the box and #34 still ran for 150-200 yards repeatedly. had he stayed his senior year, he probably would've earned a 2nd heisman. best ever.
