I think most people who end up stayding in the parking lot during an NFL game had intentions of finding a ticket and going into the stadium, but I'm sure it would be fun to tailgate during the game as well. Just make sure you have a radio or TV handy and enjoy having your own beer/food and being surrounded by fellow fans.

Yes, I see it all the time, come to the game for the tail gate and watch it on TV in the parking lot. I have never done that but it seems like a fun thing to do if u dont have a ticket.

Sure they do! They call it "tailgating"...cooking out (whether it's a simple charcoal grill with burgers and brats OR lobster thermidor on a portable 6 burner stove!), drinking liquid libations (beer to champagne) and hey, we still watch the game---on anything from a portable black and white with rabbit ears to a plasma tv in our 40 ft motorhome with a dish!

you've never been to a game at Lambeau Field. depending on how big a fan you are, most will go to a game and just sit in the parking lot for a game

Think about what you're saying. Who in their right mind would drive all the way to a football game, spend maybe 8 to 10 hours in a parking lot, miss the game, and then go home?? Please!!!

Only the diehard fan, because they can still hear the fans and almost feel the excitement . Most people can't afford to go, so they make the best of what they got!!!

nah, I like to tailgate before the game if I am going in, but I would rather be in the comfort of my own home with some good friends, good food and good beer.
