Isn't that absolutely ignorant? The Death Tax is highly immoral and should be killed immediately and permanently. Why did anybody ever think this atrocious thing is a good idea?

Realistically, the only way that Prince Charles will not become King is if is mother outlives him. Now, that is not such a crazy idea as Elizabeth could live on for decades, but apart from that possibility, Charles will be King. Queen Elizabeth II would never try and have her son skipped over for the throne, and indeed, I don't think that can be done. Charles has a birthright to the throne. I'm not sure what he could do (short of high treason or herresy for something like that) to warrant being passed over.

The only other realistic possibility would be if Charles were very old and incapacitated at the time of Elizabeth's death. If Charles were to have suffered from severe mental deterioration, then maybe he would be passed over.

Otherwise, get ready for King Charles III. It would probably not be a long reign, but I'm sure it will be great.

What do you think?

When the current Queen was crowned, over half the UK's population ( or at least those polled) said they believed the Queen had been chosen by God to rule over Britain, and was spiritually superior to other mere mortals. In the past, many Monarchists have believed the Royal Family to be the "Guardians of the Faith," and strictly Christian Monarchists (including senior C of E figures) have said publicly that they genuinely believe the Royals are specially protected by God, and are "higher beings" than ourselves.

I am interested to know if this feeling still runs strong with supporters of theirs. I am not mocking, and ask only out of curiosity.

Would she have to give up her title? Would I gain one? I guess all I have to do is meet her and we'll fall in love at first sight. The only problem, and I suppose it is a benefit, is that family of hers.
