No, but it does mean you have some Neanderthal genes. Red and auburn hair are the result of three mutations in the Neanderthal lineage 50k-100k years ago. If you have red hair, you almost definitely have Neanderthal genes. Many people of European and Asian descent do.
Neanderthal and cro-magnon humans probably interbred, but, after two or three generations of fertile hybrid offspring, the immediately noticeable differences disappear, being mostly supplanted by cro-magnon features.
This also might account for supposed autistic spectrum disorders manifest differently in everyone, because they're not symptomatic of some disease or deficiency - it's just genetic roulette.
I'm probably a hybrid, too, then. My head is 10% larger than average and I have several autist/aspie traits which run in my family, though nobody was ever diagnosed.

G'day Twobob,
Thanks for your question.
No it means that you share a genetic profile with them regarding red hair and fair skin. You may have had Neanderthal ancestors many thousands of years ago. Having fair skin is an advantage in northern Europe as it allows for easier processing of Vitamin D.
I have attached sources for your reference.
Regards

Apparently people with red hair and fair skin are decended from an ancient race of giant people, or at least thats what i've heard. They are called Nephelims or something like that. And if my memory serves me correctly, they may also be a race of people that were orrionally put here, on earth, by a superior extra terrestrial group.

No!!! What?
Ha, I read up on it.... I'm a fair skinned redhead- definitely not a neanderthal though! hehe. I suppose it's only fair that we were the first humans.... they say redheads are the first that will die out- within the next 100 years or something.

irish is the word you are looking for...irish
well, okay, not irish but thats more likely than neanderthal. if you have red hair and fair skin it means that you are coded for that through one or both of your parents genes.
