How do I make friends? I used to have lots of friends 3 years ago when I was 18 but than I started having social anxiety and extreme panic attacks,so I started avoiding social situations and places at all costs. Little by little I stopped socializing at all. I stayed home most of the time.In the last three years I hadn't made one friend.
All my old friends didn't know what was wrong with me,how come I always wanted to stay home and never do anything,so they stopped hanging around with me. So pretty much last three years Ive staying home and didnt socialize at all. I am so lonely, depressed,I just can't take it anymore. My life is at the lowest point ever,I pretty much talk to my self now. I am gonna start taking meds for anxiety and panic attacks. But I wanted to know how do I make new friends,it was so long ago that I forgot.

Do you have certain situations when you like to smoke (trying to collect my thoughts when the phone rings etc), under periods of stress, the first pint in a pub.

Or does the craving or habit make you want to light up a lot of the time?
