I can understand people using these vehicles for large families or business purposes but it seems as though so many people are getting these gas hogs because 'its the thing to do'.
What gives with that?

Many asians, go under the knife to change their eyes, through eye lid surgery, and i'm sure they do other things, because they see Caucasians as a model of beauty and strength. Yeah they do it for other reasons too, but i'm sure they also do it cause they want to become like caucasians.. Besides eyes, wht else do they change? And also any americans do any surgeries to become Asians? i've never seen

When White people who are sassy, outgoing, and talkative go to japan, i hear stories of how everyone loves them, or how they become like Gods. But what if it was me going. Mexican American, who is shy, not outgoing, I'm not like the Latins that you see in Spanish Channels I'm just a quiet serious person, and I'm simple , come from a simple family. Just like in usa, japanese who come here think i'm a nobody, then would it be the same?

i'm NOT asking whether or not you think it could happen. i AM asking what would happen if everyone did just go into the woods and stare into space for a whole year in meditation. would this be a statement in nihilism or an incitement(dont even know if thats a word?) in chaos? what would the effects be? who would benefit? who wouldnt?

"Bullies in the Schoolyard"

Un-freaking believable. Then again, it's 2006, not the early-mid 1970's. I seem to recall a lot of bullying - on me no less, back then. Um, but funny that while all this 'insensitive' bullying was going on, we had much higher test scores, lower drop-out rates (not to mention, less teen pregnancy and other social problems among our youth), but I digress...

Although I was a 'victim' for many years of 'bullying', I wouldn't have had it any other way. It toughened me up physically and mentally. And it prepared me for the real world, not some fantasy arena where there are time-outs and bad folks are sent to a corner...

We have grown way too soft. Especially in the upbringing and education of our boys/young men. And we're going to reap the fruits of the current educational/psychological mindset for years to come. Watch it and see - or should I say Read it and weep.

Born in usa, from mexican parents who have become residents.
I'm neither mexican nor American, and i say that because I'm kind of dumb and don't do any cultural activity that you would call American nor any that you would call Mexican. My spanish is bad my english is bad.. and i can't debate or talk like many americans do. Born in usa but i don't act, look, behave, whatever, like american... So if the minute men saw me, they would want me out because i'm quiet and ddon't stand out? I've heard Minute men say "you should learn the culture, and the language".. but what about personality? Are they trying to make us be diffenrent than we are? and if we are not, then they want us out too?

I have been following a thread on Race which Police officers in the U.K are discussing on an online forum at the moment. There is specific reference to Chris Alders the youung Black youth who died in police custody what the IPCC described as an unlawful killing as welll as the Stephen Lawrence Enquiry. I am looking for people wiling to add their own posts with their own views on race and perhaps your own views on the deaths of the three BLACK boys. The reservations are on, for the most part, unwanted lands that were forced on the people. They surrer from diseases and alcoholism. Why can't the "stars" and the Bill Gates of this world send their aid to the first people of this country instead of overseas. They need schools, hospitals, homes and a way to make a comfortable living. How about helping America first.
