Mythology & Folklore - January 2007

I believe that they did long ago, but a lot of people believe they're just myths. Science has given evidence that they did (or could have) existed. I know that just because I watched dragon shows on the History Channel or Animal Planet doesn't make me an expert or anything, but I think it's possible. What do y'all think?

I know what a vampire is, but what is your definition? There was a documentory on last night about vampires and it got me wondering what everyone's seperate definition was. The actual definition the show gave was rather vague and encompassed serial killers like Elizabeth Bathery into the myths and stories about vampires.

So what are the charactoristics that you think make up a vampire? And do you believe that any historical figures could be classified as a vampire? (i.e. Elizabeth Bathery, Vlad Dracula).

I don't want the defintion of what it is, I know what it is. I want to know what it is used for...and please..PLEASE; no fluffy bunny answers from some Silver Steaming Pile Of Camel Crap Ravenwolf Llewllyn book or from a teenage self-proclaimed thousand year old "wiccan" priestess. I just want an answer from someone who knows the herbal and quixotic value of it; not a new age lecture.

I did. A tree across from our house looked like an alien standing there. It was about 12:00 am. when I looked out and noticed it. I got so scared I couldn't move or scream.

I think it was Rosemary and Grayson together. He drew up the will and would hope to inherit from it once his mother took over Home farm. She would not have had the strength to push him herself but together thay could have.

You know that image of a girl with a little cloud of rain just above her - well that is me. Murphy's law is the little bugger on my shoulder. I'm always prepared for things that can go wrong, but it seems that he always outwit me.
