It is believed in some parts of India that Snake gourd( a long snake like vegetable )whether cooked or eaten with chicken eggs will be poisonous. Any one has any experience or proof for it?

I too heard it. I disproved it.
Such superstitions were spread by businessmen in days when various types vegetables and eggs were seasonally available to keep up or prevent sales of one or more edible items
