Hehehe this is embarrassing and is still embarrassing to this day. About 4 years ago when I was 16, I was at home with my best friend and it was about 11:00pm and my whole family were out. We were watching TV and we thought we heard someone trying to get in the back door, so we went to have a look, anyway being scared 16 year old girls we convinced ourselves that we saw the door handle rattling. We both screamed, I grabbed a knife (cause I was really actually going to stab someone), we ran to the front door and realised it was unlockled and freaked out coz "the killers inside with us!", so we proceeded to call my brother, my parents and my grandparents trying to get someone to come over. They all turned up completley freaked to find us in my room crying. There was never anyone there but it sure as hell seemed like it.

We used to go into the bathroom in the dark and look in the mirror and say, Bloody Mary, bloody mary, Bloody Mary over and over. We said saying it enough times will make a bloody image appear in the mirror. As our eyes adjusted to the small amount of light (crack under the door) our own images eventually appeared. We'd be scared out of our wits and hit the floor where we'd be too afraid to get up for some time. But we had blankets and pillows there awaiting our fall.

when my daughter was 1 year old she suddenly got terrified of a particular toy. I hid the toy in the wardrobe as it upset her so much and as I put her in her cot there was a scratching noise from inside. Presumably the toy slipped down a bit.
My husband was working nights so to amuse myself I wrote a horror story based on the incident. I scared myself so much with it when I went to bed I had to bring my daughter in with me because I was too scared to leave her in the same room as the toy.

Done this many times, oft causing panic attacks, could have been nothing more than awakening from a nightmare, to just having a bad feeling

Pretty much every morning when I wake up and look in the mirror. Other than that, no, nothing much scares me.
