I know that the hand-carved shapes of Chinese jade stand for different things. The animals of the Chinese zodiac are representative of themselves, for example. But there are other shapes... butterfly, vase, etc. and I was told that each of them had some meaning. I have looked everywhere I can think to look online, with no answers. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks!

Hey, don't get mad at me. Last night on Comedy Central, Carlos Mencia was cracking on beaners hanging out in front of Home Depot. That just set me to thinking...hmm. Did anyone see the news in Britain yesterday? Did you see the interview with J K Rowling and how she is seriously thinking about killing Harry Potter in the final book! I can understand her point that after the books are finished she doesn't want another author to come along and re-write the character but why kill him? Snap his wand, send his broomstick to the cleaners but please spare his life. Discuss

I always wanted to go and walk around or even spend the night at the Amityville house on Long Island, Newyork. I saw the documentary on the new release of the movie the Amityville Horror. I've read the book and I've seen the original movie. I wonder if such a dark force actually exists in this modern day. I beleive the house is still standing. Can anybody give me the address and exact location of the house and any details about its current statis? And also what is your opinion of the phenomena of the details of the Amityville Horror.
