I and my girlfriend feel that roses are just so not thoughtful and too traditional so if any one else has some ideas it would be nice to hear them

I'll admit I am no gift shopper.
I dread gift shopping.
But I've been dating my boyfriend for 11 months, however, we're both 16.
He comes from a very rich family, so he has just about everything he wants.
I have to work at my church on Valentines day, so eating out is not an option, and we both have basketball games the rest of the week. And this weekend we're both busy so there is no seeing eachother.
I've been thinking and thinking of a gift to get him.
And I've ended up with this:
Since we're both in basketball, I'd buy him a basketball, and write with a sharpie on it whatever I would write on a card.
For Christmas I made him a blanket and a picture frame with a picture of us in it, so I wanted to do something creative again.
And since Valentines day is in just over a day... i'm limited to options.
LEMME KNOW WAT U THINK!!!!
Thanx!!
Kelsey

This story, like most others starts with a girl, or a group of girls to be precise. One of these has been my friend for a while now. This girl introduced me to her friends, who became my friends, and flirted with me for a period of about two months. Finally her and two of those friends convinced me to ask the fourth to a valentine's day dance. That's where it really started:), movies together, coming over to my house, you know, the whole deal. She told me she really liked me and wanted to spend the day of the dance with me. Then came the day of the dance, saturday, and they invited me to instead of the dance, go bowling with them. Which i accepted, despite not being able to play because of my recently-healed shoulder. One hour before we are to meet, no phone calls nothing, no one will answer or return my call. Turns out, the girl went over to another guy's house with her friends then the movies, while leaving me to hang, or so they thought:) cruel no?

I got him this book that says "Couples Memories" and it has these fun pages where you can put pictures of eachother on there, questions like "how are you two different" and "Where was your first kiss?"

I think its really cool, but now that i bought it, i dont know if he'll like it for sure. What do you think?

(BTW, hes the type of guy like does martial arts, he love motorcycles, he does like to take pictures when he has a camera, he's a technical kind of guy, likes to keep all the little notes i write him, likes to hang out with the boys, stupid humor, likes the movie "The Notebook" a lot.)

I asked this girl to go out on v-day, but didn't realize it was v-day it just happened to be my only day off. Do you think she knew when i asked her and should i treat it like a regular date or v-day date. Or should i just call her and tell her i didn't realize it was v-day when i asked her and would she like to be my valentine for this day? if she didn't have prior engagements

I got my boyfriend a promise ring for Valentine's Day but it turned out to be a size and a half too big. I took it to get resized this evening, but the lady at the counter was not sure if titanium could be sized, and a manager is supposed to give me a call tommorrow. Has anyone ever had a titanium ring resized and if so, where? Please do not answer if you don't know the answer specifically for titanium(not gold or silver), thanks!
