This story, like most others starts with a girl, or a group of girls to be precise. One of these has been my friend for a while now. This girl introduced me to her friends, who became my friends, and flirted with me for a period of about two months. Finally her and two of those friends convinced me to ask the fourth to a valentine's day dance. That's where it really started:), movies together, coming over to my house, you know, the whole deal. She told me she really liked me and wanted to spend the day of the dance with me. Then came the day of the dance, saturday, and they invited me to instead of the dance, go bowling with them. Which i accepted, despite not being able to play because of my recently-healed shoulder. One hour before we are to meet, no phone calls nothing, no one will answer or return my call. Turns out, the girl went over to another guy's house with her friends then the movies, while leaving me to hang, or so they thought:) cruel no?

Was all this some kind of elaborate plan to hurt me, wow? If they did not throw her at me and beg me to ask her, i would never have even shown an interest! Luckily my real friends called me up and took me to a play and dinner that evening, but wow, is ANYONE really that cruel?

And every time i think about her chasing around this other guy, i wonder if she just used my popularity as an excuse to catch his attention?
