We have been dating for over two years so I'll be able to personalize any general idea you may have. We are both college freshmen so $ is limited.

Here's something creative that will be appreciated and you will have fun doing:

Make up a crossword puzzle and have all the hints be personal inside moments and jokes that only you two would know about. Put it on a poster board and add some clipart and some pictures to it!

The crossword puzzle could be time consuming and a bit frustrating ... you could do the same idea with a WORDSEARCH or WORDFIND puzzle.

Put your computer skills to work! Use Excel, get clipart from Yahoo Images Search, copy them, and reformat them, use a gluestick to put on posterboard.

If you'd rather not use the computer so much, try graph paper to sketch out the puzzle and use real pictures or pictures from magazines.

A couple of years ago, my hubby and I stayed home on Vday. He cooked dinner AND served me. He made some choco covered strawberries for dessert. He had candles burning throughout the house with soft music in the background. He had rose petals on the kitchen table, floors and all over the bedroom. He bought me a sweet card and read it to me after dinner, even sang to me a bit. He took my hand and had me dance with him in our living room.

It might sound cheesy but, it was a night that I'll never forget. Vday doesn't have to be so materialistic and expensive. Just put some thought into it!

Good luck!♥

Well, for me and my wife, we'll just stay-in.

As for you, I would suggest a picnic under the stars, in a park or near a beach or waterfront. Bring a small stereo in case you want to dance.

or Go to a park, catch a free performance if there's any.

It's easy of the $$ but you'll have a romantic time.

what are some of your interests? adding more details will get you more personalized answers, but depending on where you live, and what you like, etc..theres lots of different things..

you could do the whole romantic dinner watching the sunset, especially if you could go somewhere like the beach..

if shes into horses you could go on a romantic ride sumwhere

maybe iceskating?

if shes sporty, maybe take her to play somewhere?

i dont know since i dont know what her interests are...

wait i jsut assumed you were a guy, lol i dont know tho..you might wanna specify that as well.
