This is my first time having my husband's family over to my house for Christmas dinner. Unfortunately, I don't have any cooking experience. I want to provide a good holiday evening, so I'm very concerned. Please advise me! Happy Holidays to everyone!

Whenever we get any presents off family before christmas (e,g Aunties, and uncles, not parents) We always put them under the tree until Christmas. I think many people do this, and I just wondered if anyone knows why we do this, and where the tradition came from?
