No I dont. People and the corporate world end up making it just for kids and they forget the real meaning of Christmas in the process. Most people who say it's just for kids are probably lost b/c they dont think that Christmas is a celebration of the birth of Jesus

I know people, certain cultures who don't celebrate Christmas. Other than that Christmas has turned into this big commercial money making industry about gift giving. Sure the gift of giving is overdone by some parents and some can't afford presents which is a reality. I look after my own children with presents!
If Christmas is for children, how come some adults have Christmas parties. Have you ever heard of that song "Grandma got run over by a Reindeer" that means Senior citizens are involved too. There is one about Grandpa getting run over by a beer truck.
It is a spirit of celebration to me of how far you want to take it!

I think that the main ones are the children as far as gifts go, but I do believe that people go way OVERBOARD at Christmas. IT takes some people a year or more to pay for what they spend at Christmas.

Christmas, as it is celebrated in the US, is nothing more than a commercial feeding frenzy. We are teaching our kids the basic leassons of affluence, greed and self-interest. The essential lessons of the capitalist system. It has about as much to do with religion as a poke in the eye.

No way i have 5 kids but we enjoy xmas too. Its about being with family and having a really great time. Most families dont get that chance during the year due to living arrangements and our busy lifestyle so its our chance to say hey lets get together at xmas

Over the last few years, its lost what used to make it 'special' for me, and its just not the same, but thats just part of growing up I guess. I'd say the older you are, the more you devote it to the kids.

I would say that is total bull. It's for everyone to celebrate in our own special way! It may mean different things to different people, but we all reflect on something at this time of year.

Christmas is great for people who are suicidal. It gives them the extra push they need to actually kill themselves.
