Now before some of you get annoyed hear me out. I have often wondered about this why exactly do people celebrate Easter mainly by giving chocolate eggs to people? For what reason I seriously don't get it even more being because many people don't believe in God and that is what Easter is basically about! God rising from the dead (supposedly) However people who are not Christians it seems give each other eggs and stuff and make that story of God as an exuse to do so. I am not a Christian myself and feel I shouldn't be getting Easter eggs I have done nothing to deserve them and neither has anyone else. No doubt this is an occasion retailers can make a good profit but when people say I am celebrating Easter what the **** are they celebrating? What eating Easter eggs lol. I am on about the people who aren't Christians as well here. Birthdays make sense to celelbrate, Christmas too I guess but this occasion is really about God as well. Easter though I don't get it. Okay thanks.

I know that all the Orthodox and Catholic Christians celebrate Easter today. I am wondering if the Protestants celebrate it today as well. And do they celebrate it at all? I am not sure because as far as I know they refuse Catholic saints, traditions, etc.

Hi there,
It's a bit of a silly question, but when I was younger at Easter time there would be these gold easter eggs that were peanut butter eggs. But they were always kinda hard to find. The past few years I have not managed to find them at all. I was wondering if anyone knew of the ones i'm talking about? Unfortunetly I do not know the name brand except they were in the gold foil.
