Church fills the morning hours with Sunrise Service, breakfast, Sunday School and then the service which usually shares a Contata instead of a sermon. We will trapse on over the Grandma's for dinner that could be anything from Lasagna and all the fixins to traditional Ham and all the fixin's..depends what she has planned as a surprise for us. All the girls help her clean her kitchen as the men take the little one's outside for the Egg Hunt. About the middle of the afternoon we will go home and let the kids get into their baskets and everybody just chills out for the rest of the day. Hopefully, Spring break begins with Easter Sunday and not at the end because getting everybody settled to bed for school is pretty tough with all the excitement this busy day held. We all love this Family Holiday!

Umm....
We make Easter chocolates. And then we ALWAYS do something with our Grand Parents. And that's about all we do but we are pretty busy the whole day even thought we are just doing a few things,
Oh yea we also have an Easter egg hunt for the little kiddy's! And that's all we do!! Lol!

We kick it off the meal with a good ol' egg battle as per the orthodox tradition ...each time you whack someone's egg you have to say "Christos a inviat" (Christ is risen in Romanian)...the recipient answers "Adevarat c-a inviat" (It is true that he is risen). You have to keep on going until your egg is cracked on both ends. Usually the eggs have to be a solid red but we've used other colours as well. Then we continue with a meal of lamb...We also introduce some of the North American traditions (i.e. Easter egg hunts, chocolate exchange) for the benefit of the younger members of the family.

My kids are grown so we don't do the easter egg hunt anymore (but I am going to hide some candy for my youngest who is 17). We will go to Sunrise Service, breakfast and then go to our dear friends home for Easter dinner at 2. I'm really looking forward it. We did passover with my sil who is Jewish on Monday. I really enjoy her holidays as well.

My family is Christian and we observe the annual Passover in the memorial of the Messiah Jesus Christ, the creator who became the savior of mankind. We have nothing to do with Easter which is just another paganised ritual adopted by the apostate Roman Catholic church and ignorantly copied by its Protestant branches.

I don't know about my brother, ect. But my mother, my step father and I have a picnic after church, at the community park.
Mom makes a salad, I make a pie. Some times we buy chicken at kfc, or something. Some times one of us bakes some chicken. This year, I baked some chicken.
