Obviously, humans only invented toothpaste a short while ago, in comparison with the millions of years of human evolution. So why did someone feel the need to invent toothpaste? Did the quality of our teeth suddenly degrade within the past era of modern civilization? Do all non-human animals have bad breath? What happens if people stop using toothpaste?

Humans have been anthropologically shown to have developed the symbolic capability to think abstractly in symbolical manners. We began thinking less in-line with the "physical" and more in-line with the "metaphysical."

After understanding our own development of the ability to create mental abstractions, is this evidence of our creation of God?

Nietzsche: "Which is it: Is man one of God's greatest blunders, or is God one of man's greatest blunders?"

I learned in school that the people who crossed the Bering Strait did so because they were following the Mammoth.
However, since people do not EAT elephants, I assume they are not delicious.
With so many other animals around, wouldn't it be more feasible that they had some other reason for wanting to cross the Bering Strait?
Is there anything else that they could have been following?
Also, why did they ALL cross over?
I mean, Asians are similar to Native Americans, but they are not the same.
Didn't anyone disagree with the "little scheme of marching up and down..." and just stay behind. Did they have such a regimented society that everyone just followed the "leader"?
I BELIEVE that people crossed over--I am not saying that they came from space, or anything like that.
My question is more about being more creative with the COMPELLING REASON and the nature of the relationships in the group(s) that migrated in that direction.

They say 80% of body heat excapes from the head..well I go out without a hat on often, bundled up of course....So..

If I just put a hat on and then go out butt-as* naked...according to this, I should be warmer, because I'm now conserving more of my body heat..

What do you think..?
