Humans have been anthropologically shown to have developed the symbolic capability to think abstractly in symbolical manners. We began thinking less in-line with the "physical" and more in-line with the "metaphysical."

After understanding our own development of the ability to create mental abstractions, is this evidence of our creation of God?

Nietzsche: "Which is it: Is man one of God's greatest blunders, or is God one of man's greatest blunders?"

to understand the symbolic thought is not understanding God but understanding the human race.in how we age as people as well in how we develop. The humility of creation Is not of god but a divine intervetion of a human embryo. it is not in metaphysical sense but a physical sign of a huamn being.

No.

Nor is it evidence against that hypothesis.

IF God (defined for this purpose simply as "an entity existing beyond the universe that created the universe") created humanity, with or without evolution as part of its method of so doing, then it created us with the capacity for symbolic thought.

If there is no creator, that capacity nevertheless evolved or came into spontaneous existence or is part of what a human being is and always has been in the eternal present....... or however you postulate a non-created universe to have come to appear to be.

No to the first (original) question.

Yes to the second question - god is our creation. Been a very helpful creation too. Just look at all the peace and love and forgiveness!
