Ok! What happens when the slope (by with the ball rolls down, in my case it was a wooden plank) has been tilted over 45 degrees in angle. and the ball is put at the top of the slope and released to roll down? (remember the slope is over 45 degrs) and as u tilt the board/slope the ball starts simply starts rolling down the board, but actually with out any force acting on it. You know what i mean? ofcourse until the point of 'free fall' where the ball simply drops down with total gravity acting on it. but when its u know on a slope of say ..... 55 degrees or 70 degrees. what is actually happening? what do u call that?

Consider three objects with the same temperature, but with radii of Bob = 1000 meters, Patrick = 2000 meters and Gary = 4000 meters. Which has the largest luminosity and which has the smallest? Why? How many times bigger is the largest luminosity than the smallest? What do we know about the color of the objects?

Two rays of light from the same source destructively interfere in their path lenghts differ by how much?

and I need to demonstrate the wave properties of light in the lab by using a slit film with different slit patterns with a range of widths, spacing, and number of slits. Before I go, I just want some ideas of how it's going to be resulted.

1)when two waves interact, do you end up with a larger amplitude wave, a small amplitude wave, or no amplitude?

2)What conditions d oyou need to make a larger amplitude wave?

3) what would show that light has wave properties?

4) Figure out, using geometrical arguments, whereyou should see bright spots and where you should see dark spots.

5) would the same concepts hold for sound waves and water waves?
