Let P_n be a sequence of polynomials of degree <= m (m constant) defined on the complex plane and with complex coefficients. Suppose there are pairwise distinct complexes z_0, z_1,....z_m for which P_n converges. Show that P_n converges on the whole complex plane to a polynomial P whose coefficients are the limits of the sequences of corresponding coefficients of the polynomials P_n.

Now, suppose P_n is as previously mentioned but degree(P_n) is an unbounded sequence. Suppose the sequences formed by the coefficients of same degree of the P_n's converge on C. The limits of such sequences define a function P given by a power series which converges in the interior of some circle of C. Is it true that P_n --> P?

Thank you!

I only need help with the first part cos i can't figure it out

A right circular cylinder is to be made such that the sum of its radius and height is 6m. Find the max volume of the cylinder.

So all i know is: a rt. circular cylinder is a cylinder whose base is perpendicular to its sides.
r+h =6m
V=pie r sq. h, having 3 variables, i have to find a variable using r+h=6m. i need help finding this variable, i know how to work out the rest.

PQRS is a rhombus.

The length of PR is (3 √3 + 2 √2) cm and the length of QS is (3 √3 - 2 √2) cm.

(i) Find the area of the rhombus (What's the formula to find area of rhombus?)

(ii) Express the perimeter of the rhombus in the form of a √b cm where a and b are integers.

Please show your workings clearly..thank you

For some reason the words and numbers get me confuse and I don't know exactly when to multiply, subtract, divide etc.

Math problem: The Champion Lumber Company converts logs into lumber or plywood. In a given week, the total production cannot exceed 800 units, of which 200 units of lumber and 300 units of plywood are required by regular customers. The profit on a unit of lumber is $20.00 and the profit on a unit of plywood is $30.00. Find the number of units each of lumber and plywood that should be produced to maximize profit. What is the maximum profit?

Can someone please help me?

Lines & Planes in 3-space problems?
Plz guide me in the following questions, step by step & plz write all important formulas, since my Linear Algebra is not good:

10a-Find parametric equation for the line passing through the given points
(5,-2.4), (7, 2,-4). Answer: x=5+t, y=-2+2t, z=4-4t

11a-Find Parametric equations for the line of intersection of the given points
7x-2y+3z=-2 and -3x+y+2z+5=0 Ans.: x=-12-7t, y=-41-23t, z=t

14a-Determine whether the planes are perpendicular
(-2,1,4).(x-1,y,z+3)=0;(1,-2,1).(x+3,y-5,z)=0

16-Line
x=0, y=t, z=t (-Infinity < t < +Infinity)
a-lies in the plane 6x+4y-4z=0
b-is parallel to and below the plane 5x-3y+3z=1
c-is parallel to and above the plane 6x+2y-2y=3

17-Find equation for the plane through (-2,1,7) that is perpendicular to the line x-4=2t, y+2=t, z=-5t. Ans.: 2x+3y-5z+36=0

21-Find an equation for the plane that passes through the points (3,-6,7) and is parallel to the plane 5x-2y+z-5=0
