Two straight roads intersect at right angles. Car A, moving along one of the roads, approaches
the intersection at 25km/h and car B, moving on the other road, approaches the intersection
at 30km/h. At what rate is the distance between the two cars changing when A is 0.5km from
the intersection and B is 1.2 km from the intersection?

I have formed two equations:
x= 0.5 +25t and y= 1.2 + 30t
- im stuck here and I dont know how to continue.

Thanks in advance!

Im am trying to find the limit of the function (cos x - 1) / sin x^2 as the limit approaches 0.

If you plug in 0 you get 0/0 meaning l'hospitals rule applies.

So I take the derivative of the top and bottom seperatly

I get -sin x / 2x cos x^2, which still gives me a 0 for an answer,

even if I take more derivatives I will keep getting the same answer...However I guessed in my head the answer would be -1/2, but I cant show it

Any ideas?

- 6 = - 6 (an assumption)

can be written as

4 -10 = 9 -15

4 -10 + 25/4 = 9 -15 + 25/4 (adding 25/4 on both sides)

(2 - 5/2)^2 = (3 - 5/2)^2 (by opening it we get the same according to (a - b)^2=a^2 + b^2 - 2ab)

2 - 5/2 = 3 - 5/2 (taking 1/2 power on both sides)

2 = 3

how is tht possible ......... isnt date amazing or i m wrong some where ?
