Please help me, I'm usually the first to give out about people asking maths questions but this is for my exams! School is over here in Ireland for the summer so i can assure you it's not for homework. I've searched through my book and previous questions and can't find anything like this question. It has a minus sfter the mulitplication. I can do the other ones with multipliaction or addition. Please teach me how to do it!

Simplify, 3/ 15 X 5/7 - 1/14

thats three over five multiplied by five over seven minus one over fourteen. Its probably so obvious but I've been studying so hard I can't think straight. Any help will be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Three students spend £30 (£10 each) on pizza. When the pizza boy returns to the restaurant, his boss points out they should only have paid £25 between them. He takes £5 back, but helps himself to £2 and gives the students back £1 each. The students have now paid £9 each making a total of £27. If the boy has kept £2, where did the extra pound go because £27 + £2 = £29

I have the TI-83 Plus.
I can't figure it out. Is it just x2?

Also, can you solve problems like 12=5x+2?
Even though you don't need a calculator to solve that.
