Olivine can consist of all Mg no Fe, all Fe no Mg or an intermediate composition of part Mg and part Fe. When an imtermediate composition applies there is the ratio [Fe, Mg]: Si:O2 does this mean that there is always fixed ratio of Mg:Fe or does that part vary? In other words when there is a mixure of Mg and Fe are they always in a fixed ratio to each other?

I was thinking about what puts out a fire. Water can, however water is two parts hydrogen and one part oxygen. Oxygen cannot put out a fire, because fires need oxygen. So, that would lead me to believe that Hydrogen puts out a fire. Is that true? If so, is Hydrogen peroxide flamable?

I need to fog my apartment (again!) for fleas. Foggers usually come in a pack of three. Since I have a small 2-room apt, I only used two from the first pack. I bought another brand with another chemical. So, I just want to make sure that Permethrin (adult killer) and (S)-Methoprene (fogger #1) won't explode when it encounters cypermethrin (fogger #2).

Since the methoprene is a larva-killer, I want to use that in the room where I've kept my cats. I want to use only the adult-killer (cypermethrin) in my bedroom (I didn't let the cats get fleas on my bed again). Of course I'll keep the door between the rooms open to try to get the full effect.

I hope my question makes sense.
