I am confused about it. I've heard about the theory that the 'world will end' in december 2012 but is that true? Is there real evidence that it will? If the world really WOULD end in 2012, how?
Just because Maiyans(spelling?) didn't go up to 2012 in their predicted calendar, does that really mean the world will end? That all the humans will die? What if, you know, suposevly, the Mayans(spelling?) simply didn't have enough time and didn't want to waste THEIR life predicting ours?
Please answer. With detail and thought. I would love to have a conversation with someone who knows this stuff. Thank you.

Of course I've heard of ectoplasm or whatever it's called, but is there any truth or physical evidence of it's existence? I have heard that ectoplasm refers to the outer lining of a cell, but that was on Bones, and while Bones has a tendancy to be truthful in many aspects, I just wanted to make sure.

question is based on my last question and all the tremendously insightful answers I received (same category, 2 days ago). We are directly changing our environment; we are unique in that respect. Since last year when my partners Nan died I've always told him that she visits him. I said it because I really feels that she does. Last week he said to me."If she visits me then why don't I feel her?" I told him it was because she did not want to upset him. The other night he was walking up the stairs and he smelt her smell. Okay the other night I was going to sleep and i heard a noise and i opened my eyes and there was a man with a top hat on standing there and i jumped up and turned on my light and he was gone..it totally freaked me out..do you guys think it was just where i was half asleep and half awake or he was a ghost..has something similar to this happened to any of you.. can someone explain this 2 me? plz..thanks

Last night, I was lying in bed awake when suddenly my head hit the pillow. I felt very odd, like I was asleep but I could hear, my eyes we're closed but I could see, and my arms and legs were limp but I could move. I wondered if I could try sitting up and I could feel half of me sit. Suddenly, half of me literally fell out of my body! I moved around a bit then I tried floating. I could hover a bit and sort of fly around my room. I went into my mom's room and saw her sleeping. The strange thing was that I couldn't phase through walls; I tried floating through the ceiling but couldn't. I returned to my body, afraid that I'd be stuck outside it forever. Was this an out of body experience, and if so, how did it happen and how can I trigger another one?

Real psychics don't take Randi's challenge because they're not interested in money.
And this is why everything is available for free in a psychic bookstore-giftshop. Oh that's right, they charge a lot of money for tarot cards, readings, books, talismans, etc.

It was the ability to internalize a contradiction and operate normally as if everything was normal and there was nothing wrong.

It's not the only example. You don't have to look any further than headlines and pundits to see people entagled in Doublethink.
But Spiritual (Religious or whatever flavor is present) schools of thought thrive on Doublethink.
As a matter of fact, if you look at Orwell, it's almost a how to manual for every cult, religion, totalitarian state, or corrupt institution that has ever warped people's minds.
I agree with James Randi! It is harmful and should be opposed!

for as long as i can remember ive had encounters on a regular basis with things that seem otherworldy. ive seen an apparition walk past the doorway of our kitchen every night at exactly 11:02, ive heard childrens voices from the attic and smelled a very strong vanilla scent up there since we moved in which my mom and sister both claim they dont smell but i mean its clear as can be. ive also had a fully closed bathroom door open when ive been home alone. on top of that i awoke 3 seperate times to open my eyes and see a dark shadowy figure over me and the worst case of goose bumps imaginable. then at my old house i had many different encounters and at 2 friends houses as well. one while spending the night we went for a hike through his wood and i saw something white parallel with us but there was no oneand it was night time. then the other while house sitting the door began to shake and the dogs went crazy like someone was there but no one. could all these experiences mean anything?

I'm looking for a specific game that was spread around the net between 2000 and 2004. It asked you specific questions such as family members names and birthdays. Then, it had you do something like add up the numbers from letters in their names and the birthdays to spell out a new name. I've been seeing a net/web of yellow energy since October 2006. Most times it just pops out of nowhere and I just see it right before me. I can also choose to see it or 'erase' it. I have two friends in Krishna/ believers more than 10 years.
When we meet they always talk about God Krishna knowledge
for the world.I like this much as they are very good people and I think their religion is very true and working.
Sometimes when we talk I can somehow visualise the ashram they go on saturdays- they are not afraid of this mutual clairvoyance-they say this is a sikhi but they do not know if this comes to me from a spiritual teacher and for what is being given.
