Not the best place to ask, I realize... but I am wondering if any 'psychics' (those with a heightened sensitivity to intelligences without traditional interfaces like bodies and such), especially those in the city, experience a strange phenomenon in the energy spectrum of the strange organism we call the city?

If you deprived such a psychic of any way for him to tell he is in a metropolis, do you think he could still sense all of the energy? I am willing to bet that, like anything else psychic, his sense of the city is due to his awareness of it and the suggestibility of that awareness. In other words, it's all a product of his imagination.

It is true that a city can be considered an organism, but I'm not sure I'd agree with your definition of "psychic" as one who works "without traditional interfaces." If I understand your question (always something of a challenge with you), you are asking whether those of us who are open to such subtleties can sense the particular "spirit" of a city. Yes, I do. Each one has a different flavor, personality, dynamic. It is not only the people, but the buildings, the layout, the geographical features, the weather, all of it. There is indeed a dynamic structure which can properly be analogized as an organism. And each one is unique.

Are you trying to say that a city is a living organism that a psychic could communicate with a city?
That makes even less sense than telekinesis.
Sorry, as poetic as it sounds, a city is a collection of individual people, not a single organism.
I have never heard of any such phenomena as someone communicating with a city.
