I was wondering if the man drinks alcohol and gets a woman pregnant, does it affect the baby? What I mean by drinking is about 6-10 beers a day.

My clothes still fit. I can just tell right about my pants i have a little pudge. My family has noticed and they all comment on how i am already showing. They say its because I only weigh 115lbs thats why i might be showing so early or that i might be having twins.????

Hi, I eat quite a bit of fruit daily and some vegetables, but I'm still not sure if I'm getting enough. I've heard we should eat 5 to 6 servings of fruits and vegetables a day, but does that mean 5 to 6 total of BOTH fruits and vegetables combined in a day or 5 to 6 servings of fruits and then also 5 to 6 servings of vegetables in a day? Also what exactly constitutes 1 serving? For fruit I think I remember reading somewhere that 1 serving = 1 medium peice of fruit. Is that right? I have no idea what 1 serving of veggies would be. I'm not a measurer so I really don't know if I'm eating enuf or not. Like for example, this morning I sliced in a handful of strawberries into my cereal - I'm not sure if that would actually be considered 1 fruit serving for the day or not. Is there an easy way to make sure I'm getting the daily recommended amount? And like I mentioned in my question, I am currently pregnant so is the 5 to 6 servings a day still the right amount I should be eating?

I am a little over 5 wks pregnant, and my doc scheduled an appointment to have a scan done 2morrow, what should I expect to see? Will I be able to hear the heartbeat?

This question is to Catgirl. I'm sorry if this offends anyone, but the person it was intended for. Why are you going and putting thumbs-down on all my questions? Why are you writing questions that straight out call me out? If sooo many people disliked my answers to their questions, then they should say something themselves. If sooo many people dislike my answers, why are you the only one being extremely immature about it? I know some are going to say that it is immature of me to ask this question or whatever, but I'm tired of it, and I'm not willing to give up my spot on Yahoo! Answers just because ONE person disliked an answer I gave. So thank you for letting me get this out. P.S. Notice how I can spell......yeah, my main problem with a lot of people especially considering how this comes with spell check!!

I went to the doctor and he examined me and told me i felt like i was 13 weeks along... my uterus was the size of a 13 week. later that day i went to the ultrosound and they were rude and didn't allow me to have a picture.... and then told me i was only 9 weeks... and that my conception date was novemeber the 19th. I got to calculating and on nov. 19th i was already 3 days late and i remember thinking i was pregnant then.. because i was going to take a test on thanksgiving but decided to wait a little longer... so how is that possible... i go back to see my doctor in a week... and i'm going to tell him about it.... the doctor and i were at the same week ... he thought i was 13 and so did i... but the ultrosound people said i was 9... they are wrong... what do you think?
P.s
I have a picture on myspace... I LOOK SO PREGNANT already. that's why i'm lead to believe they are wrong.

i was 8days late on my period, i tested but the result was negative on day 7. On day 8 i started to bleed. My periods are normally quite heavy and last for 6-9 days. I bled heavy for 3 days and then all of a sudden i stopped bleeding. Now i have been spotting brown for the last 4 days, however its not enough for a pad only a panty liner, just wondering if it sounds like an off period or something other like a miscarriage or pregnancy?

My daughter will be 7 1/2 months when we are going on vacation and wants to go with us. The flight is about 4 1/2 hours. We did check with the OB/GYN and he want to wait until it's closer to the date, but we've got great prices on tickets right now. They are non transferable and non refundable and I don't want to waste money if she is not gonna be able to go. Any other expecting ladies out there who could or could not fly? ANy advice?

and why do they treat it as a sign of the times? Teen girls still would get knocked up in past decades as well. also, people say that teenage parents "arent ready for the responsibility". I've seen grown people who are immature as all hell that have children and treat them like crap and teens who are more mature than they look have kids and their children are turning out really great...
so anyway, why do people assume the worst of teen parents? why are pregnant teens treated like scourge and shipped off to group homes?

The doctor wouldn't tell me much. It was almost as if he didn't want to worry me. He has taken hcg test yesterday and I go back Friday to get another. He will have results in Monday. It's such a long wait. I just need some answers that he isn't given me. Can any one help?

if you had a regular period and then you finally finished that day, and then you have sex and he comes inside you, can you get pregnate.

* that same day, or the next day, and you just finished your period so can you gt pregnate.

I am married and 25 years old, we are not trying to have another baby right now because we have a 9 month old son. I took a pregnancy test the day before my period started and it was positive, but, I got my period, a full 4 days and it was the normal flow I usually get. How can it be that a pregnancy test came up positive and yet I still got my period? If I am pregnant that is fine, but its bothering me.
