Go see your doc! You could be very constipated, lol, which is common in pregnancy, particularly late pregnancy.
You might also be having Braxxton-Hicks contractions, which can be alleviated by making sure you are hydrated and get rest.
Being hydrated will also help the first problem. If drinking plenty of water & staying off your feet don't help pretty quickly (within an hour) go see your doctor!
You might also be in labor.

I'm 37w 6d pregnant and have had this for 2 days now, i'm thinking it's my cervix effacing because i haven't had any contractions except a few little B/H here and there. A hot bath helps a lot to deal with them... are they getting more annoying now since they are non stop? If they are more annoying then painful try the bath, or a heating pad. If they are more painful then annoying see your doc. It's not too long now. Best of luck!

completely general, hun. whilst i became pregnant i became swollen from approximately 25weeks on and it became terrible! My swollen ft and ankles have been atrocious, and that i had a similar concern with the indentation of my hand prints if I pressed on them. lol It sucks, yet particularly all you're able to do is relax and anticipate that toddler again cus after that the swelling will pass down. i became nevertheless signifcantly swollen a million a million/2 weeks postpartum, so my midwive gave me some water tablets and the swelling went down in approximately 3 days, it became surprising. purely wait and spot, this is going to pass away quickly. I promise(: solid Luckkkk!!

I would go to the hospital an get checked out. They say if your not sure they would rather you come in and get checked than not. You could be in labour or there could be something that needs attention. They should have given you a number to call at the hospital or else call your doctor. Good Luck!

"First off, does your doctor know, second it could be the baby dropping into the birth canal, getting ready for the big day. Def call the dr. and try and rest, try a few different positions and see if they help any....... Good Luck, it'll be here before you know it.

Uh...you need to be calling your doc not posting questions on Yahoo....any number of things could be going on. Or it could be that the baby's arm or leg is pressing into your stomach. Either way CALL YOUR DOCTOR
