I'm talking about this:

http://www.thesun.co.uk/article/0,,2-2007090140,00.html

(Yes I know the Sun is a crap paper - my other half bought it)

Are things really this bad? 17 year olds out of their boxes on drugs, shooting each other, carrying knives, living off crime with absolutely no hope of getting a job or doing anything with their lives?

I'm 35 and grew up in a poor area of South Wales where there was little work, and very little for kids to do. I remember underage drinking and smoking, petty crime and kids smoking the odd spliff but nothing like this! Has it got this much worse over time? Is it just in the large cities like London and Manchester that things are this bad?

What are the Government going to do (aside from wasting taxpayers' money on wars in Iraq and filling the job market with Polish immigrants that is)? What can they do to make things better?

As the mother of a 12 week old baby boy it scares me to think of him growing up in a country like this!

The UK government clearly does not want publicity for the anti-nuclear demonstrations because it wants to renew the UK deterrant. The demonstrations occurred in Trafalgar square, London, and Glasgow. The train crashed on the line connecting those two locations.

Was it sabotage by government agents? And were they trying to drop hint?!

Since Iran has stated repeatedly that they will wipe Israel off the map and no other countries have the balls to do what's right, who should do the nasty deed? Personally, my money is on Israel....

I ask this question because of what we continually see on television, read in the news, or hear on the radio. It is repeatedly stated that if US forces were to leave Iraq, it would have dire and far reaching consequences. These consequences could possibly include terrorists or other groups to be more aggressive or possibly stage attacks against the continental US.

The question then is, do you feel any paranoia over such a possibility? Whether it is while our forces are stationed abroad or if they were brought home? Why, or why not?

As far as I'm concerned, Mexico should shut up and allow "economy-producing workers" over WITHOUT question and WiTHOUT demands that they speak Spanish.

These damned hypocrites don't have any right to complain when someone illegally passes into their country as long as they're launching an invasion on ours.

I have two possible solutions:

1) Have the Federal Government take over the paternity and burial fiasco, and bypass all other appeal venues and take this straight to the Supreme Court.

2) Have the US invade the Bahamas. Not only would it resolve the Anna Nicole fiasco, but it would end tax shelters for corporations and millionaires who have been getting away with not paying their fair share of taxes in the US, and give relief to the middle class, thereby improving our economy.

(Okay, part of it is half-way tongue in cheek, of course, but seriously, this may not be all that way off base if you come to think of it).

Throughout history, liberals have hated the "top dogs", that is the strongest nation or nations of the day - even if they live in that nation.

Roman liberals helped invaders sack Rome and celebrated it.

British liberals were hoping that Germany would invade in 1940 and they would have helped the effort, such as "Lord HawHaw"

French liberals helped Germany's 1940 invasion and annexation of France.

US liberals won over the hearts of US voters during the Vietnam War. The public was the first generation to not know war since WW II, became spoiled by peace and prosperity, and were quickly convinced that all war is wrong no matter what the cause. Even though America could have won the war and saved millions from communism, the US pulled out.

US liberals are against the war against terror and the war to rid Iraq of the remnants of Saddam's evil rule. Their belief is that the terrorists will win, and if they side with evil now, the terrorists will be lovey-dovey to them later.

World : Iran nuclear issue: US to use force if diplomacy fails
Posted by admin on 2007/2/24 4:48:32
Sydney, Feb 24 (DPA) The United States could resort to force if diplomacy failed and Iran looked set to acquire nuclear weapons, US Vice President Dick Cheney said here Saturday.

"All options are still on the table," Cheney said during a joint press conference with Australian Prime Minister John Howard.

Cheney said every effort would be made to persuade Iran to give up its nuclear ambitions through diplomatic means.

"But I have made the point, and the president (Bush) has made the point, that all options are still on the table," Cheney said after an hour-long meeting with Howard in his Sydney office.Cheney, who arrived Thursday after visiting Japan and will leave on Sunday, said the US was dismayed by Iran's ambitions.

"We see a nation that has been fairly aggressive in the Middle East, a sponsor of Hezbollah," Cheney said. "They have made some fairly inflammatory statements. They appear to be pursuing the development of nuclear weapons. It would be a serious mistake if a nation such as Iran became a nuclear power."

Howard, in parallel remarks, said Iran stood to gain from any precipitate withdrawal from Iraq.

"I don't think there would be a country whose influence and potential clout would be more enhanced in that part of the world than Iran's would be if the coalition were defeated in Iraq," Howard told reporters.

Australia, which with Britain and Poland committed troops to the US-led invasion of Iraq, has 1,400 soldiers deployed there. Last week Howard announced that a further detachment of up to 70 military trainers would be sent.

Howard, described by President George W. Bush as a "man of steel", sets great store in Australia's military alliance with the US. This week he also signalled that Canberra would be increasing its strength in Afghanistan, perhaps to a force of 1,000 troops from 550 at present

How many of you have heard of Ranexa? A company in California named CV Therapeutics makes it. The company trades at about $13.00 right now (ticker symbol: CVTX). The scuttlebutt is that it's going to jump to $20.00 or more after March 27th when a study named MERLIN is released on the safety and effectiveness of Ranexa.

They are starving to death, and no one seems to be worried. They are large land mammals. So are humans. They aren't the only species that are becoming endangered, and why aren't people paying attention? This is some scary stuff. Are people in denial or do they just not care? People seem to worry about what happened to Anna Nicole Smith's dead body instead.

There is a rally on March 20th in Washington DC for the polar bears, but I can't go. :(

When they talk about Praying to God, many think they meen YAWEH, as in the God of Abraham and Jacob, HOWEVER the god they worship at the grove is Molech from the Old Testament, a demonic deity, and a false god.

Again NO Neo-Con nutjobs please, I recognise your desire and ignorance to be protected by the very people who terrorise you, some of us are still free thinking though
