Or is it time for George W. and the military to intervene?

While I don't think the President should intervene I do think that Gore should stop and consider that global warming has happened before as has global cooling ( ice age anyone). I am not saying that man has not been at least partially to blame for the current amount of global warming but I think Mother Nature is more likely in charge than we are. I also remember in the 70's that science was saying we were on our way to the next ice age. There are way too many contradictions for me to trust Gore on this one. If he starts giving up his private jet and multiple homes and big cars it might have a little more impact on me.

If Gore had intervened on the count of those votes - we might have a better world than the one we are now creating!

al gore should be president. and i don't think george w and the military are going to do anything unless there is oil involved. come on who is gonna give gore an oscar anyways???

I dont believe that is his goal to win an oscar. I think he is trying to inform the people using popular means of todays society. People like to see movies so he made a very good informational movie.
