I am working on getting a black metal band together, the more i get into the music i hear the more i research things i never learned in school, it makes me wonder why they don't teach us things like the events of Bathory, or Vlad The Impaler, is the world in denial? I beleive if everybody knew about these tragedies nobody would worry about the world becoming wicked and the "Sign Of The Times" crap would be over..the world today is amazing compared to the dark ages so whats with all these jackasses on tv telling everybody to prepare for armageddon, after the research i've done, the world today is just peachy, and there is no "global warming" by what i've looked at the temperatures are just on a pattern of heating up gradually over the years and then dropping down slowly and doibng it again..is the world really this stupid or is the media trying to make us stupid?

Well, me and my friend were talking about Pete Doherty last week and got talking about drugs. And we ended up talking about cocaine, 'cos it was on hollyoaks.

Anyway, we were talking about it, and we were wondering; is there anything else you could take in the same way as cocaine, and kinda get the same effect. Or not. maybe something that doesnt even do any damage at all.

We were wondering this because maybe that's what those peole who say they've stopped taking drugs do. Maybe they have stopped taking dugs, just started something else that not as harmful, maybe?

I dont know. my friend said sugar, but i dont think it would.
Well, any answer will do.

Hugo Chavez of Venezuela, after delivering a speech at the UN in which he insulted President Bush and the US, offered to provide millions of dollars of oil to poor Alaskans. Many of the Alaskan villages have accepted the offer, but many others have rejected it, to send a message to Chavez about their patriotism and loyalty.

Does anyone know how I (and others) can send a contribution to those villages that have bravely declined Chavez's offer? Thank you.

I found this answer on a question of someone just saying one thing wrong about the health service:

"If you dont like it LEAVE! NOW! We wont miss you, we are the land of free, love it or leave, get da *** out of my country and move to north korea!"

I mean is that irony or what, the most "freest" of all nations, and people enforce the opposite, if america truely was freedom land, people would be able to say what they want without being bullied out, "Love it or leave it" what kind of free people say things like that, thats dictatorship, and it sthe ospposite against freedom, its ironic, people must leave if they find a problem with their country (Apparently) that is soo hypocritical, it looks like the "war for freedom" is a sham people dont even know what it's about, "Love it or leave it" sounds like Stalin or Hitler's slogans, next you'll be crucified for speaking anti-bush

You Just take it- nothings ever given to you- Blair and his cronies should be assasinated or poisioned Russian plutoium 110 style. Then all other parties will be outlawed as they are complicit in being feeble at not providing adequate opposition to this country being held to ransom by outsiders and then they should all be jailed. Then a strong dictator should be anointed to oversee the running of the country and a 10 point plan drawn up to deal with Galloway, Livingstone, Abbott, Portaloo, Cameldung and all other selected vermin.

Yes its sad that an innocent man was killed. But why are they attacking the NYPD as a whole the men who killed him shoud be attacked. New york needs police.

Last weekend, 7 New York Police Department detectives were on an undercover anti prostitution sting operation at the Kalua Cabaret, a strip club in the Jamaica section of the Borough of Queens, New York.

Sean Bell, a 23 year old UPS worker and minor league baseball player who was about to get married the next day, just happened to be a customer at the club that night - his friends took him their for his bachelor party.

He and his freinds were asked to leave after some other guys got in an argument with them. As they were leaving, the detectives (who never showed their badges or identified themselves) ran up on Bell and his buddies in their car.

Bell, fearing a robbery, tried to flee the armed men approaching him. The detectives, who still hadn't identified themselves, raked Bell's car with 50 gunshots (one detective fired 31 times - he actually had to stop and reload!) Bell died, his two friends are still in the hospital.

What do you think about this?

Should the cops have shot this man?

Should the police even have been there in the first place (after all, is sex for cash in a strip club REALLY THAT BIG A THREAT TO PUBLIC SAFETY?)

What do you think should happen to those detectives who shot this man execution style, while he was still seatbelted in his car?
