Chavez plan is to get a united front to confront his enemy. He is travelling the region and the world to drum up support for his cause. Truth be told he is gaing popularity in the americas and a lot more leaders that some may say are on the left are comming into their own.

ABSOLUTELY NOT.THOUGH THIS ADMINISTRATION WILL HAVE US BELIEVE THAT.Hugo Chavez is what most leaders in most third world countries will love to be.The problem is they do not have the money to back it up.Chavez does.For once in the history of Venezuela the gov.is spending so much on the poor and the forgotten,on education,health care and housing.Is this so bad?A report on national public radio yesterday states that small business activity has jumped up more than anytime in the history of Venezuela?Hugo Chavez has the money to back up his talk.Fidel needed others to help him out.

He's definitely left leaning, yet Venezuela's economy is not in shambles. As long as the country gets money from its oil reserves, there is no reason for Chavez to go communist. Sometimes, it seems as if he wants to, but there's way too much money in that country for something of that magnitude to happen.

No, he's is definitely NOT.
Fidel is an educated man, a revolutionary,and a leader (for better or worse), as well as the longest reining dictator of the last century. He has loyal supporters.
Chavez can't even trust his own people to protect him and has hired Cubans for the job.
