Over 3000 Americans are now dead thanks to George Bush and his failed attempt to look good in Iraq.
Thousands of others are dead too thanks to his decision to invade.
Hundreds of children and innocent people, too.
When will Bush face trial for his war crimes?
If it's good enough for Saddam, surely it is good enough for Bush.
He was responsible for more killings than Saddam ever was.

I merely asked a simple question to try to UNDERSTAND WHY people are mourning!! Thats why I asked! So you people who are so defensive please RELAX!! I am trying to see and learn the other side of this issue and all some of you do is retaliate against me personally! Try being open minded to people who ask questions! I am not debating or defending! This is a place to ask questions isnt it? Eve! No wonder there is so much bitterness in the world with defensibe angry judgemental people such as yourself. Get a life & if you cant deal with people stay off Yahoo!

I am a 42 year old woman, and no not involved in political issues around the world, but I truly do not understand how some can mourn the death of a man responsible for so much hatred evil suffering and death to so many people. Saddam was punished for his crimes but yet some don't see it that way. I understand and respect the fear of increased violence now that he has been executed. Fear I understand. Mourning him I do not.

Why is it that liberals never agree with the west on what is good for western civilization ? Are they that bored or are they that stupid ? Saddam killed hundreds of thousandsof innocent people. He met justice......Lowlifes in America get the death sentence for killing one person...imagine killing thousands....

In the original Iraqi Constitution, execution should not take place on a holly day. Saddam Hussein changed that article in the constitution and it was amended to be able to execute anyone at any day in the year... Today is Eid, a very VERY holly day in Islam, and Saddam was executed. KARMA! PLUS... A video grab taken from al-Iraqiya television shows ousted Iraq president Saddam Hussein moments before being hanged in Baghdad. Saddam was hanged inside one of his former torture centres in the final act of a brutal 30-year tragedy that left the stage strewn with tens of thousands of corpses. And again I say KARMA!

I believe this is Karma! Saddam Hussein brought upon himself inevitable, bad, results. It is the cosmic principle that is taking its action. Each person is rewarded or punished in one incarnation according to that person's deeds in the previous incarnation. Its his fate/destiny.

Congratulations! AT LAST... The world is free from Saddam Hussein!!!

Why are some people upset about Saddam Hussins death? I mean I don't know a whole lot but I did know he was a horrible man who killed thousands of people in cold blood. But he believes he was doing the right thing? How does he justify killing thousands of people? Also, why do they hate America and Israel? I thought Saddams death would be celebrated but there seems to be a lot of people down there in mourning and upset but why? He killed so many people but he says he did it for his country...how? Then he says he died for his country? I'm very confused and I was hopeing someone could help me understand this a little better.

We've been dealing with this since the news first broke out. Now don't get me wrong, current events are really important to our daily lives but do we really have to spend our weekend, the last weekend of 2006 arguing about the death of Saddam Hussein.

Come on people, no one can take back the fact that he's gone.....Whether you're happy or sad about it, can we not all just get along and celebrate the coming of a new year?!?!?

Is anyone else getting sick of all of the bashing coming from BOTH sides?

Is it because they have such a simplistic view on recent events ? Do they see Saddam`s execution as a Bush victory of sorts ? Why are America`s liberals on fire after Saddam`s penalty for his crimes against humanity ?

become the new buzz word for "Liberal"? True to form (creating their own words) why can they never call things what they are? Example - 'I never had sexual relations, "as I define it", with that woman'..... (Slick Willy Clinton). I wish I could create my own definitions to the English language.
