Where the hell did you hear that piece of trash. Saddam Husein was no saint, but he never put anyone through a plastic shredder for fun.
So stop trying to impress ignorant people, and go back to reading your comics.
To answer your question, no I don't feel sorry for him as he was a ruthless dictator. However IMO his trial was a mockery of justice as the whole thing, including the outcome, was orchestrated by the US(ie. the international bully illegally occupying Iraq).
PS:Brook L: Wake up will you? Saddam, although no role model, had nothing at all to do with 9/11. This has been proven 100 times over. So if you don't know what you are talking about, don't open your mouth

On the contrary, Saddam is a man that lived to the age of 69 in a country where most people don't make it past 50. He accomplished just about everything in life a man in his circumstances could do, and he believed that he was going to die a martyr for "his" people.
I think hanging was to good for him. He, along with all the other tyrants out there (just look at Africa) should be put to death in a most painful way. There are sickos in the penal system that we could have locked Saddam in a room with that could really show him what pain is in a way we, as "normal" people, could never either imagine or go through with.

I would have much rather seen them castrate him with a bic lighter first.. or let a blind golfer tee off between his legs and make him watch..then hang him.
Some people say an eye for an eye is soo wrong... well I don't always agree with it, but this isn't truely an eye for an eye if you look at how he tortured people, some got ran through shredders but some also got taken down to an inch of their life and left to lay there suffering.. if they died they were lucky if they lived he would have them finished off later oh and letting the family watch some of these events...sick sick sick. I think he got off pretty easily with hanging in my opinion.
I may possibly come back and edit at any time if I think of any other deserving things he should have experienced before hand.

I agree with Eve. Although I do not feel "sorry" for Saddam the man, I do find it disgusting that so many people are willing to murder another human as an answer to condemn him for murder.
It's hypocrisy at its worst level.

I don't feel sorry for him. I just don't think humans have the right to do that.
That makes you no better than him....to say an eye for an eye is how to resolve things.
That is just savagery and as human beings you should feel ashamed to feel no remorse whatsoever.
