My husband and I are looking to buy a house in the Indianapolis area. We very much like the area that is south of Garfield Park just south of downtown. I have also been told that Beech Grove is a good place. We're looking for older construction (maximum early to mid 1950's), sidewalks, mature trees, safety, quiet....basically where grandparents would live (but we're in our 30's!!). Any SERIOUS help would be appreciated. The above mentioned neighborhoods seem to be good examples and not ones that are one or two streets of good areas and then you are in a battle zone. Thanks!

We would like to rent it out for one year and move into the house the following year? Is this possibe? Do we need to actually be residents of the state to buy a house? What is the going rate to rent a 4BR, 2.5 BTH house in Houston, Texas? My husband's sister lives there so she will over see things for us in terms of rent collection - maybe, and her husband will handle any maintenance issues - we will pay them someting every month for taking care of this for us. My husband and I were in an accident in January and are reaching the end of our treatment. Has anyone used this company? Are they reputable? Do you know anything about the quality of their images?

I stopped by today to check out the location to see if it was something I would be interested in and I wasn't impressed. The office (if it was an office, I don't know because it was locked) looked like the door to a closet and there was no literature or anything outside the door.

So I'm kind of forced to try to gain some information in any way that I can.
