in Singapore Idol, do you think that voters are deaf or stupid?

they tend to vote for those who can't sing,and those who are a good singer tend to be voted out,Mathilda is obviously the most worthy singer among them,but unfortunately she has been voted out.i can't wait to see Joakim or Jasmine to be voted out,they are not even worthy to be in the 12 finalist. shame on singapore if this goes on.

People wonder why nothing is getting fixed up in New Orleans?

Well, when you have a government that wants to regulate every aspect of construction and protect every single consumer. The guys that work construction just say " F " it..... The American working stiff is just so damm sick of government and all the red tape that go's into hitting a nail with a hammer. I know about 20 unemployed construction guys sititng around... They have all just given up - these guys are only in their late 20's. Tired of Mexicans taking their jobs, no health insurance, and like they say its easier to just buck the system like everyone else.

Motel in Austin, TX? Week to week? Month to month?

I have just recently started a new job in Austin, and am staying with a friend until the end of the month. I am looking for a clean cheap hotel/motel to stay either week to week or month to month. I know in San Antonio I saw places that charged around 450 for month to month rent. I know Austin has a higher cost-of-living, so I expect it to cost more. I don't know how long it will take me to find a permanent place, but if it's only a little more expensive to pay week-to-week, that would help tremendously towards being able to move into a home once I find the right place. I am right now working in the area of MLK and Airport Blvd, and will be on call some nights, so it needs to be as close as possible. I also have family in SA, so south is preferable to north. Thank you very much for any help you can give me.

Can anyone tell me when Kansas City Showcase & Store Fixture Works was in business?

I need to know when they opened and when they closed. They were located at 622 E. Third Street in Kansas City, Missouri. The telephone number was just listed as 237 (that tells you it may have been quite a while ago).
