So, you are not ACN or some other multilevel business rep?
But I KNOW you are something like that, oh yes, I see the approach, the man is so slick, he knows all the abbreviations particular to his business...yep, he's looking to sponsor people:
try this one:
"Hi (insert friend's name), I have always valued your opinion, and there is an opportunity I'd like your opinion on. here are short (yeah, sure) presentations this Tuesday and Thursday, which is better for you?"
Oh my friend, what I know! You want me in your organization...but I just can't do that...it can work, I did make five figures total, and you can too, but be careful, oh yes, be honest, and if friends say no, they are still your friends.
