Video & Online Games - October 2006

I have tried it many times. They were successfully downloaded, but never worked.

I unzipped them, but those new weapons never appear when I start the game. In fact, after the unzipping, nothing is changed.

Do you know how to effectivitly make them work?

I've finely found a web site that I can download sims2 items and clothing and cool stuff (TSR). I have been downloading like crazy and the past couple times when I go to see my new items in the game...there not there! Its really bumming me out. So is there a limit....or whats going on?

okay so i went to like 10 different sites to find things to download onto my sims, like new hair styles and clothing, but EVERY time i download something it makes a new folder onto my cpu, and does not get on my game. i have the new extension* pack umm the glamoure life i think. anyways can any one help me, in like clear steps ?

and if i'm not already a lost cause, when i did update my game with the new pack thing, ALL the walls of the houses in my game are glowing red and i cant change it..grr

The lady I sit for brought over her xbox for my kids to play at a sleepover. It is LOADED with 60 or so games? What is that? We have Playstation and I had no idea a game could be loaded that way. I've got the pair of Sims into the bed and clicked 'Try for Baby' and they went under the covers but nothing came up saying she's going to have a baby and no appeared so how do I know if she's going to have a baby or not.

i have the sims 2,nightlife and open for business,i play the open for business but everytime it is loading a window appears which says "application has crashed,it will now terminate" or smthing like that,i dont know what to do,plz help!!!!

When I press play game, it will show
" This application has fail to start because d3d9.dll was not found. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem"
Had tried reinstalling but same thing happen, even went down to the shop to change another disk.
I am using XP, 3.4Ghz, 1GB Ram, Nvida 7300GT.
Please advice.
