I've got the pair of Sims into the bed and clicked 'Try for Baby' and they went under the covers but nothing came up saying she's going to have a baby and no appeared so how do I know if she's going to have a baby or not.

If you have your volume on you will hear a chime after they 'woohoo' so you know she is pregnant. Then after a few hours, their hours, you will notice that she will start to vomit and have a pregnancy sign with a question mark bubble above her head. You can also have them try and 'try for a baby' again and if it wont let you, that means that she is pregnant. And if you would like to have twins and don't want to leave it to chance. You can do ctrl shift c and then type forcetwins into the box after she gets pregnant and then she will sure to have twins. Hope this helped....I'm a diehard sims fan... Gotta try the Pets one if you haven't yet, its AWESOME...

Well, good question.
in real life, just cause you have sex doesn't mean that you are guaranteed a baby. Same goes to the sims. The word "try" in "try for baby" should be a clue. There's only a chance that you'd get preagnant in the sims, and when you do, don't worry. There will be a notification on the top left side of the screen. And your sim after time will start having a bigger tummy. If you're lucky, you might get twins!

A funny chime goes off and the option try for a baby will no longer be available. Also the female sim has a dummy sign above her head and barfs alot. Usually u'll find dirty toilets everywhere.

Well, I've got that game too, and if a noise ( it sounds like bells) and ,well, the woman is pregnant. OR, if you don't have headphones or whatever, just wait a Sim day and she'll have a baby bump. Simple!

i like to make sims stay in homes with sims they hate and upload mysterious ovens around the domicile and set all of them on hearth or no longer enable them to sleep and attempt to maintain them wakeful with coffee or see in the event that they might stay in a constrained section with quite some ghosts (in case you get sims 2 pets, the ghost canines are very vicious)

According to my 10 year old (who is addicted to this game):
"You just have to be patient, she will get a fat tummy if she's going to have a baby. You could also try making one in the hot tub. If that doesn't work try adopting one."
(I'm sort of wondering, now, whether I should be letting him play this game - but I hope it helps!)
