I've finely found a web site that I can download sims2 items and clothing and cool stuff (TSR). I have been downloading like crazy and the past couple times when I go to see my new items in the game...there not there! Its really bumming me out. So is there a limit....or whats going on?

ya, i think A) there is a limit or B) you didnt download it properly or C)your comp. is regecting it.
go on sims.com, they have downloads that are approved and they can answer your questions

so far, im up to about 8,000 downloads for my sims 2 games. I dont believe theres a limit but the more you have, the slower it will take to open the game. when I boot my game, it takes like 8 minutes before I get into the neighborhood screen and I have a 3.2 ghz computer with 256mb video card and 1 gig memory.
you should be fine. but some files may overwrite old ones so pay attention

It all depends on how much space you have on your hard drive. Also depends what you are trying to download. there are items that cannot be downloaded unless you have the expansion pack of that items.

i think there is a limit because i love the Sims 2
