I know it's hard to find many of the LDD's because they have been discontinued, but I still am hopeful I may be able to find some. I've tried ebay and other such sites, but have yet to find ones such as Sybil, Lizzie Borden, Jack & Jill--well you get my point. Do you have any idea of other places where I could find them? Thanks:)

I tried purchasing another one at the store I got the first one, so I could get a few more replacement strings. As luck would have it, they don't sell the Yo-Yo anymore there. Before I go and contact Hasbro for some replacement string, is there any way I can convert regular string into Yo-Yo string? I have a roll of string, but it doesn't have the Yo-Yo ending at the end, where the single string divides into two, and forms a loop to place around the Yo-Yo.

In TV adverts for dolls (such as Barbie) the voiceover person always says "Each doll sold separately". Why do they do this?

I assume there's some legal reason, but I can't imagine a court case where a toy company were sued for selling dolls in separate boxes.

Can anyone enlighten me?

I'm in the UK - do they do this in the USA and other countries too?

I have been buyimg them for my daughter for fifty cents to a dollar each. The MacDonalds variety sell for 25¢.
Is this a lost cause? Who know?
Cabbage Patch dolls made a brief comeback a couple years ago, but that died out in a big hurry.
