I'm getting a nintendo on christmas so if the new one is better i'll get it but I haven't seen the new nintendo yet to the normal nintendo so pls help me.

It's the same, only it's been updated with a brighter screen, and sleeker styling. But all in all, same thing. Just a better conversation topic, and something more to brag about. But I definately would get the new one, and it's the same price, so you really can't go wrong.

Nothing much apart from it being slightly smaller and lighter and screen a bit brighter!!! You can still use the same games as the normal nintendo.

the new one is smaller the screen is a bit brighter and it plays colour's more clearly it also has a bigger pen and the buttons are set up differently i know this because Ive got the old ds and my cousin had the new one and we went through the books to compare

It's smaller. The screen is slightly brighter and the stylus is chunkier (fatter and longer). Otherwise it's the same. Same games, same capabilities.
