All the info I can find always says 1931 by neil tillotson. Thats ridiculous. The Winnie the Pooh stories all date from the 1920's, a lot of them mention balloons. I have a photo of my grandmother holding a balloon when she was 7 years old. The photo is dated 1920. Can anybody clear this up? Im just curious.

Im struggling - done all the searches and everywhere is out of stock, so I would appreciate any help at all to find a Wii at a reasonable price in the UK. Ive looked on Ebay and they are selling around £300 mark, which is WAY too much for me to pay - ideas of an alternative present for a 12yr old would also be appreciated :-)

The honor society I am in (at college) is doing something similar to donating to toys for tots-just a different yet similar group. I am not sure about what kind of toy to get because normally my gf and I go adopt one boy and one girl off of the angel tree at the mall and they have their wants/needs/wishes on them. I am not sure what to do because it seems everything is so electronic and since the kids are poor, batteries (other than the 12 pack that I could send with the toy that will eventually run out) are not going to be available. Even baby dolls and small toys now require some kind of batteries. I wasn't going to something that is strictly electronic,but the only toy that I can think of is a tonka truck that wouldn't require batteries. I don't wanna get anything that does require them bc after a while, the toy will be useless and that sucks for the kid. What do you suggest? I got to get it by Sun. night. What are kinds of toys(for a single kid) that don't need batts.? Please help
