All the info I can find always says 1931 by neil tillotson. Thats ridiculous. The Winnie the Pooh stories all date from the 1920's, a lot of them mention balloons. I have a photo of my grandmother holding a balloon when she was 7 years old. The photo is dated 1920. Can anybody clear this up? Im just curious.

The modern balloon was invented by Michael Faraday in the 1800's, but mass production did not occur until the 1930's.
