I read the article about ev training. Basically as I understand, you can boost specific stat on one pokemon by battling just one type of pokemon exclusively.

So I try to raise a "SPECIAL ATTACK" stat on one of my pokemon. It is a newly caught pokemon. So I have not done any battle yet with it.

I battled only Golduck, which give 2 ev points on special attack.
I've beaten a total of 90 golducks.
So theoretically, 90 golducks at 2 ev points each = 180 ev points.
Since 4 ev points equal 1 point in the stat change
180 ev points divided by 4 equal 45 stat points.

My math is right. I checked.
However, what I dont understand is, my pokemon does NOT gain anywhere near 45 points increase on its special attack.

In fact, my pokemon's special attack now is only 34.
This confuses me. Since if I understand correctly, my pokemon should have at least special attack of 45 points plus its base stat.


Please help. If anyone knows the answer to my problem.

So what is the worst and most embarassing bet you ever made what did you bet on, who won, and what did the loser do or what did the winner get. (plse no bets with $$)
Or what is the most embarassing dare you ever did like streaking or flashing someone.
My worst bet is when my wife bet me that she could beat me in a hand of poker i agreed and loser had to do whatever the winner said. I won and i told her that she would have to go nude the next day for the whole day but the agreement was i couldn't make her leave the house but other than that no matter who came over or how long they stayed she had to be nude. The next day i called all of the guys over and they brought their wies too. They new about our little bet but they didn't know who won or what the loser had to do, but when they saw my wife they new what happened
